As the Apple Turns is one of the funniest Windoze bashing sites out there, even if you're pro PC you should give it a look just for fun.
Have a hard time deciding?
Decision Maker by OVO
Ever had a hard time deciding which direction to go, or should I, or shouldn't I? Well this watch will do the deciding for you. It is equipped with several functions that can point you in the right direction or make decisions for you. 3 LED lights flash on the side when functions are selected and all kinds of beeps and screen savers are displayed. I have personally played with this watch for almost 2 hours and there are still new displays coming up. Push both buttons at the same time when in time mode and the time display goes all wacky in un-countless ways. The numbers blur, shake across the screen, go up and down like waves. It has a virus scan, ram, CPU, memory screen displays. I think I will stop here and let you find out the rest for yourself. The sound can be turned off too, so you won't irritate everyone around you. Well worth the $39.00 just for the fun.
Daily Show viewers smarter than O'Reilly Factor viewer
Cory Doctorow: Bill O'Reilly interviewed Jon Stewart of the Daily Show and called Daily Show watchers a bunch of "stoned slackers." It turns out that Stewart's audience is better-educated and better-informed that O'Reilly Factor viewers (surprise, surprise!).
Viewers of Jon Stewart's show are more likely to have completed four years of college than people who watch "The O'Reilly Factor," according to Nielsen Media Research... Comedy Central also touted a recent study by the University of Pennsylvania's National Annenberg Election Survey, which said young viewers of "The Daily Show" were more likely to answer questions about politics correctly than those who don't.

Fullmetal Alchemist
"In this world, there exist people with special abilities to manipulate objects and transform those objects into other objects. These people are known as alchemist. However, this manipulation process does not come without cost, as the basic alchemy rules stated that something with equivalent cost is needed to perform the manipulation.
"The main character is a famous alchemist named Edward Elric, who loses his little brother Alphonse in an accident. Edward manages to contain his brother's soul in a large piece of armor suit. However, merging the soul and body of the dearly departed comes with great cost, so the two brothers must embark on a journey to find a mysterious power amplifier which can reduce the cost to manipulate objects greatly."

For all of you Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo fans
Mugen-Anime is fan-subbing, VERY well I might add. The manga is out there somewhere, I know because I downloaded it, but I lost track of the site because the translating was stopped.
PICTURES OF GOKU IN A PARADE!
"Like Snoopy in New York in the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade, a humongous Goku took to the streets Godzilla-style at the Neputa Festival in Aomori Prefecture, Japan. Standing over 42 feet tall, Goku paraded through the Main Street of Goshogawara City.
Dragon Ball Z's Goku was lit from within, his huge float persona glowed deep into the night for almost a week. Here's what he looked like!"

Viewtiful Joe Gets a Date
August 17, 2004 - Originally expected to arrive in stores next year,
Viewtiful Joe 2 will be instead coming out on November 23 for both the PS2 and the GameCube for $39.99. The low price and the early date are both a pleasant surprise for fans of the old-school side-scrolling action. With some addictive gameplay and difficulty levels that were tougher than all hell, the original was a runner-up for IGN's Game of the Year last year.
While this new release date will be a little over a year after the original game came out on GameCube, it will only be two months after the scheduled release of
Viewtiful Joe on the PS2.
Gmail
Shout out to Error (real names omitted) for the Gmail invite. I love it. I've also recently seen that you can get a Gmail invite just from signing up with Blogger. That would have saved me a lot of time but, oh well.
If you can get your hands on a Gmail account, you wont regret it.. It's super fast, 1000 megabytes of storage, has Google powered search capabilities, and can report spam in an instant. You can even filter out specific people's email to you. This is going to be the next big thing for sure.
Bloglines
Go to Bloglines if you haven't already and get RSS feeds for all your favorite blogs. It definitely speeds up all my blogsurfing from day to day and I can be sure I don't miss a single entry.

I was born and raised in L.A. so there was japanese culture all around me if I were to simply look for it, and armed with the internet and a (highly superior) Mac, there were even more ways to come to the realization that going to Japan was my dream.
